In addition to writing and teaching, I maintain a YouTube Channel called Lo-Fi Outdoors. My time outdoors leads to many interesting encounters with animals, plants, weather, and people that I enjoy sharing. I love exploring the desert and wilderness, but I don’t love toting expensive, heavy camera gear to shoot videos. My compromise with myself is that I maintain this YouTube channel, but I mostly shoot video on my cell phone. The channel features nature footage paired with improvisational music and factoids.
